Baby Nurse USA is a division of Nanny's USA ( www.nannysusa.com ) servicing all New York, Long Island, New Jersey, Connecticut, Dutchess, Rockland, Putnam, Orange and Westchester. We are recognized for our signature services of Baby Nurse / Doula or Newborn Care Specialists within the in-home child care industry.

Since no two babies are alike we specifically match first time, second or third time parents with Baby Nurses that possess the highest quality skill sets to educate parents, guide children towards a schedule thus  giving the parents nightly  sleep and comfort following the Baby Nurse  departure.

Baby Nurse USA has partnered with the first and only recognized Nanny School licensed in New York State using approved state of the art training and techniques used by our Baby Nurse / Doula also known as Newborn Care Specialist whether you are expecting single newborn, twins, triplets or quadruplets.

Duties and Responsibilities

Our Baby Nurses / Newborn Care Specialists will help assist with lactation, guiding the newborn(s) towards a sleep schedule so families may get the comfort and sleep at night, sterilization and bottle preparation, Umbilical Care, Diapering, Circumcision Care, Swaddling, burping, Sponge and tub bathing.

Many of our Baby Nurses / Newborn Care Specialist is trained in Prenatal, postnatal Infant massage certified Doula (Labor and Postpartum), certified Lamaze Instructor and certified CPR Trained. Unlike other agencies our Baby Nurses can assist and educate mom prior to the birth of her newborn(s).

In order to provide professional excellence to newborn(s) unlike other Agencies we only recommend 24 hour live in care provided that the Baby Nurse obtains 8 hour sleep or 24 hour split shift.  We highly recommend 10 - 12 hour shifts.  Baby Nurses will usually stay with a family for a minimum of two weeks up to a 6 months period.

Getting Started / The Process

We recommend reserving your Baby Nurse / Newborn Care Specialist at least two to three months in advance. The Process is a simple one. 

  1. You are required to complete a Questionnaire and Employer and Agency Agreement.
  2. Upon completion and receipt of documents we will line up candidates for you to in- person.
  3. Once a Baby Nurse has accepted position she is reserved for your family.  
  4. Agency fee will then be due at that time. No upfront registration, Deposit or application fee is required.  Contact Us for Baby Nurse Rates.
